Junior Explorers enrolment is already booking out for many weeks. We have reserved some space to help us prioritize siblings, so we do suggest going on the Wait List we would update you on your status and availability by the following week.

Enrolment for New Children Not Currently Attending our Before & After School or Preschool programs.

If there is any space left open in our Summer Camp, we will open a Wait List registration beginning Tuesday March 11th at 12:00pm (noon)

Our standard camp program is now from 9:00am – 4:00pm, 
with drop offs only from 8:45 – 9:00am and pick ups only from 4:00 – 4:15pm

What will camp look like this year?

Thank you for your patience! Due to an ongoing shortage of available and qualified child care educators in our area, our capacity is very limited again this summer. In order to maintain your registration you must remain enrolled in our Before & After School Program through June. Should you need to withdraw from the B&A program, you will be placed with priority on our Wait List and your initial deposit refunded.

Space is prioritized to currently attending Before & After School Children, then their new siblings, then graduating WDCC ELCC Pre-schoolers (without participating siblings). If there is any remaining space, we’ll open our Wait List to new and past families in a week or two. All new and ELCC children will begin on the Wait List so that we may prioritize currently attending B&A siblings.

  • We are unable to offer an extended care hours program.
  • You may register for up to 8 full weeks (we are unable to offer single-day, partial weeks or drop-in care).
  • Pricing will be based on birthdates.
  • Junior Explorers is $110 ($88 for a short week) per week for all campers born July 1, 2019 to December 31, 2021.
  • Senior Adventurers is $250 ($200 short week) per week for all campers born July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2019.
  • Refunds are not offered for cancellelations except under special circumstances like hospitalizations or where we must move a pre-paid child to the wait list.
  • Camp will be located at Guy B. Brown Elementary School.
  • Daily snacks (NOT provided) and lunches should be sent peanut and nut free.
  • City of Hamilton Child Care Subsidy Approvals are accepted.
  • Children are grouped by age although some planned mixed-age groups do occur. We are unable to accept friend grouping or group leader requests.
  • Daily outdoor time, fresh air and active play is emphasized. Local walking excursions are planned, and families will be notified in advance if we are able to offer bus trips.

Policy Summary

  • Should you end up on the Wait List, currently enrolled children enrolling later will still be prioritized for placement, should space become available.
  • Payments will be accepted by PayPal (Credit or VISA Debit cards) or INTERAC eMail Money Transfer.
  • Payment in FULL is required upon day of registration. No refunds will be offered for cancellations after payment is made (special circumstances can be reviewed by request).
  • If a full camp week is cancelled before starting as required by HPHS or HWDSB, then we will refund full days missed.
  • We can not refund for any voluntary absences or withdrawals.
  • Only Canadian residents with up-to-date compulsory immunizations, or a certified exemption, will be accepted into our proram.
  • Please review our Parent Handbook which form part of your agreement to attend camp.
