Welcome to Camp Waterdown
We are excited to offer our parent community experiential and affordable Before / After School Age programs (at Guy B. Brown Elementary, Alan A. Greenleaf Elementary, Mary Hopkins Elementary), and March Break & Theme Summer Day Camps normally at Guy Brown Elementary School (this year to be held at Waterdown District High School) as part of our commitment to the HWDSB Coalition of School Age Care Providers operating out of Waterdown (Flamborough).
Bringing out your inner camper!
Our Camp Programs are based upon fun themes which coincide with a variety of child interests and strive to be a non-traditional educational supplement through guided play, exploration and adventure. Our families and children are a big part of our program planning process. Each year we strive to introduce new and innovative programs that explore the world of children’s interests, including nature, adventure, technology, science and the arts.
Each camp program is tailored to meet the needs and abilities of a range of age groupings and our programs offer extended day drop off (7am) and pick-up times (6pm) without charging extra fees*.
Our programs are inclusive and not gender-biased. Campers are treated with care, compassion, and nurtured by our well trained staff that includes Early Childhood Educators, and trained camp assistants. The Camp Waterdown program is branched out of a licensed full-day program provided by Waterdown District Children’s Centre (located at HWDSB). We encourage nutritious healthy eating; morning and afternoon snacks are provided, but full day campers bring lunches (our full day programs provide full meals and snacks planned by a qualified nutritionist).
