We wanted to remind you about the up coming facility closure on Friday November 29 as well as other upcoming events and closures. On Friday November 29th, while schools remain open, our ELCC (day care) and Before & After School programs will be closed so that our staff can participate in a City of Hamilton sponsored Professional Development opportunity for our educators.
A reminder that this winter our Board of Directors has decided to close our Early Learning and Childcare program (ELCC), and we will not be offering a Winter Break School Holiday Program this year, for the two weeks that schools are closed. All programs will be closed entirely from Monday December 23, 2024 to Friday January 3, 2025, inclusive. We will reopen our ELCC
Dear School Age Before and After School Families, Good News! We have confirmed that the City of Hamilton has now extended the Schoolage Before and After School Affordability Grant through to the end of December 2024 (originally ended June 30, 2024). This program was in place during the 2023 – 2024 school year affording our families a reduction in care fees. Children aged 6

Please note that we are already at or near full capacity for most of our locations and programs dues to increased demand from currently registered families. Due to limited demand, in consultation with the HWDSB, we will be unable to offer a program at FLAMBOROUGH CENTRE this year. Please
All annual tax receipts for child care in 2023 have now been emailed to our families. You will receive one receipt per child, per program, so the total of receipts received (unless you received a repeat by accident) is your total. We have sent an email out to all of the families with a toddler/preschool wait list pre-registration asking to help us by confirming (or requesting removal) from our Wait List (which has grown exponentially). This will help us to drop those families that have found alternate care during their wait and expedite offers of care as space comes available for September placements. As we

2023 – Early 2024 Holiday Closures Before and After School Programs: Closed December 25 – January 5. All Before and After programs are closed due to the winter school break closure.
