January 24: INTERNATIONAL DAY OF EDUCATION
International Day of Education is January 24th, and it will be a delightful celebration of global learning for all.
The day will be filled with engaging activities that foster cultural curiosity and understanding. Young learners will embark on a culinary journey, sampling delicious treats from around the world (allergy safe food). They’ll be captivated by online cultural performances, including traditional dances and songs, and much more that will help encourage empathy and a sense of global citizenship!
February 28: WINTER WONDERS aka “The Big Chill!”
Children will embark on a chilling scientific adventure. They’ll explore the fascinating properties of ice and salt through an ice fishing experiment, discovering how salt can influence freezing points.
They’ll unleash their creativity and delve into the world of symmetry by designing and cutting out intricate snowflake shapes and much more! These hands-on activities will introduce them to the concept of symmetrical patterns. Through these engaging experiments, children will develop critical thinking skills, observation abilities, and a deeper appreciation for the wonders of science.
June 6: TBA
We’re still brewing a special late Spring Adventure for our campers!!
For our current Before and After School Families, a link to register for the above programs will appear on your Family Registration page when they are open. If you are not already registered for our programs, then instructions will appear in Tabs to the Left on THIS page if a School Holiday program is able to be opened for public registration.
NOTE: We only have limited space available currently in our School Holiday and PA Day programs. Our enrolled Before & After School children (and siblings where we are able) are offered priority to register until space is sold out.
Building Confidence / Having Fun!
Our PA Day and School Holiday programs are very specially planned to both entertain and educate children in a wide variety of exploration, STEM activities, resiliency, art, sports and achievement skills.
Our educators group children within their age cohorts and redefine the day’s theme in discussion and coordination with the whole group so that we make each day a special and custom experience for your children. Our philosophy here is that we empower children to contribute to their own education experience, to learn the way they do best, while making new friends and coming away with a well balanced day of physical activity, mind challenges, and mindfulness thinking.
